Let's Get Married...

Sunday was probably the hottest day of the year. Drew and I headed up to Rodondo Beach to go to Kong and Anna's wedding. Dressing up in the hot weather isn't fun but at least we were next to the water and everything except the ceremony was inside in the AC.

Its been a while since my brother and I have done anything really family oriented.  It was nice to visit the extended family.  Too bad my mom was in San Francisco for her friends 25th wedding anniversary.  It was fun times!

CLICK HERE too see all the photos from Kong and Anna's Wedding.

On our way up I thought I'd be a nice brother and fill up Drew's gas tank but damn... I didn't think it was gonna be $70.43. Gas is too expensive!!!
Bee (Best Man) x Kong (Groom).  Kong is known as everyone's older brother and the Godfather... Untouchable.  HAHA  Too bad I'm serious...  You should see his Mercedes SL55 and S600.  I'm jealous...

Congrats to Kong and Anna!  We all wish you and your family the best!

My Dream Girl...

I checked out the Hundred's blog earlier today and they had a post called, "Pixel People".  Its kinda creepy but here's what your favorite animated characters might look like if they were real people...

The best part of “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” (besides the old-fashioned Baby Herman intro, the fact that Disney and Warner Bros. characters are in the same film together, and the random tidbits of L.A. history) was that cartoons and real-life humans were side-by-side onscreen. But I always thought it’d be better if we could see what the cartoons would look like de-cartooned, and humanized.

This guy behind PIXELOO has been tackling that idea through the modern invention of Photoshop. A while back, he took care of Super Mario and Homer Simpson. And then last week ..yup, Jessica Rabbit. Some dreams do come true.

Below the 8

This past Friday I ventured pass the 8 freeway to go to Ed & Cha aka Ched's birthday house party celebration in Otay Ranch.  Let me start off by saying Olympic Parkway is far... FAR!  HAHA  But there were lots of people there and it was cool to just chill out in a different spot with friends.

Happy Birthday ED!
We love CHED!
Anthony x Izabella x Des
No red cups here...
Northside's finest: Harold (UFX), Mark Marcelo (Mindz Alike), and Jon Lego (Oceanside)
I'm not sure what's going on in this picture but Cha and Edwin are both short... HAHA
The highlight of the night was Julz passing out in Ed's family room.  Where we decided to use his body as a canvas...
"I love you! Love, TK"
This is my favorite picture because Vince joined in on the fun while still holding baby Izbella in one hand and a sharpie in the other hand.
Julz won the "Time of My Life" award for the night!  Congrats my friend!
Harold x Mae x Michelle x Scotty
Thank you to both Cha and Ed!  Happy birthday to you both!  We love you!

Victory Nightlife: Celebrate the GOOD LIFE...

The American Dream

Grand Theft Auto IV comes out TONIGHT at MIDNIGHT!

IGN gave GTA IV a perfect 10 out of 10.  Its the first game in 10 years to receive a perfect score!

Grand Theft Auto III was a revolutionary title, one that inspired a whole new generation of 3D action games. Grand Theft Auto IV is just as big a leap forward, though perhaps in subtler ways, and sets a new benchmark for open-world games. Everything in GTA IV works in harmony. The story would be nothing without the city; the city gains realism from the physics engine; the physics compliment the improved AI; the AI would make no sense without the new cover system. And on and on. There is no one major weak aspect.

A "10" is not a score we give out very often. In fact, the last time we gave a 10 to a console game was Soul Calibur in 1999. A 10 doesn't mean a game is perfect -- it means a game is pushing boundaries, expanding a genre, and doing many things to a level so far above and beyond its competitors that they overshadows any flaws. Certainly, GTA IV has some issues, the most noticeable being the occasional flaw in the cover system, but there are many more pieces of GTA IV that are better than anything I've seen from a game in the past decade. We don't give 10s often -- just to games that merit the score.
