The Dream ft. Kanye West @ Area

After the Fast and the Furious World Premier, we were off to the Dream's new CD "Love vs Money" Album Release Party at Area hosted by Myspace Music and Usual Suspects LA. We didn't get to Area until 11PM to find the line outside was insane. I heard people say they've been outside for nearly an hour and a half. Damn!

Good thing I stopped by the Hot Import Nights office on my way up to LA to meet with Indo (HIN) to pick up a few VIP wristbands for the event. We waited a short while until Ibay could escort us inside. Thank you guys!

Once we were inside the place was jam packed like sardines in a can. But it was worth it because the Dream put on a hype performance with special guest Fabolous and Kanye West. There were a few celebrities there including Shawn Merrimen (SD Chargers), Queen Latifa, Rampage Jackson (UFC) and a few other I heard were there but didn't see.

Fast and the Furious 4 World Premier

I was back in Hollywood on Thursday for the World Premier of the Fast and the Furious at Universal's City Walk. I've always been a fan of the Fast and the Furious movies, especially the first one. I love the new slogan, "New Model. Original Parts." Vin Diesel is back! HAHA

Thanks to Stacey (WOD | Universal) for exclusive tickets to this red carpet event. I was really hoping to see Paul Walker because he's such a hunk! HAHA. We got to walk to red carpet and pose for paparazzi, actually just for Sthanlee (Pacific Rim) because he's the only photographer I knew. HAHA. It was definitely fun to pretend. Hopefully next time we'll really be posing for the photographers on the red carpet... I wish I could have brought my camera but it was prohibited, but I managed to snap a few flicks on my iPhone.

Once we made it inside the Gibson Amphitheater, we were treated to complimentary popcorn and drinks. Free popcorn taste so much better than regular popcorn! HAHA. Look at Mark Marcelo grubbin' on his popcorn in the VIP concession stand.
As for the movie, I liked it a lot. I'd give it a solid B. They were able to tie together the previous Fast and the Furious movies. Plus, Jordan Brewster is so cute! Just go watch it when it comes out on April 3rd!

Too bad we didn't get to see Paul Walker or Vin Diesel. FUN TIMES!

What the HELLZ happen?

I've got to do some catching up on the blog once again. Lets rewind back to Tuesday, March 10th when Flo aka Uncle Junie and I rolled up to LA for the Hellz Bellz x Stussy x Love Made party, "Ladies First." Hopefully you've seen the 5DTV footage from that night in my recent post. It was a definite fun times night, espeically since SD mobbed up to LA. I love seeing the SD family in LA. It was probably one of the best times I've had in LA.

Anyways, Flo and I meet up with his friend Sondra (Hasbro) at the Farmer's Market at the Grove. Look at this juicy Rueben sandwich I order... It was so good!

Meet Sondra! She's on of the Product Directors at Hasbro in LA, which makes Transformers and G.I. Joe toys. What a cool job... I love toys! One of the perks with working for such a large toy company is she already got to see G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra movie! She said its really good... I can't wait! I'm so jealous!
After our late lunch/early dinner, Flo, Sondra, I meet up with Cros1 (Armory) and Hektik (Armory) at the Hellz Bellz office to catch up with everyone before the night's festivities takes its course.

We ended up going to the Ecco Lounge at around 11PM to find a pretty long line of eager party goers. Luckily for us, I met the bouncer previously so we didn't have to wait. Thank you! Once we step into the club, it was PARTY TIME! I would like to apologize for my actions in advance. HAHA

Adele live at House of Blues!

Just got home from watching the sold out Grammy winning artist Adele at House of Blues. To be honest, I've only heard her hit single, "Chasing Pavements". But I know she just won 2 Grammy Awards for "Best New Artist" and "Best Female Pop Vocal Performance." So I wanted to see what the hype was all about since this would probably be one of her last shows in such an intimate venue.

I invited Josephine (my 1st morP date) to come along with me since she's a huge Adele fan. We meet up with Moe (Victory) and Jen at their place in Little Italy before heading out. Coming from the the Busta Rhymes concert last week this was an absolute 180. Nice change of pace...

She sounds exactly like how she sounds on her single.
