[Santa Ana] The Sweetest Hangover @ Proof

Bruised Toes...

Last night I drove up to Hollywood after class. On my way up I stopped by Harney Sushi in Oceanside where DJ Majestik (Z90.3) aka Alaric was providing the musical ambience. I am a huge fan of Harney's, especially because of the Bomb James Bomb roll (its seriously the best sushi roll ever). I didn't even know they had another location. Aplus aka Andrew, the Prince aka Kimtan, Impakt aka Glenn, and Jeff aka... Jeff were also all there hanging out. Jeff Rimando is moving to Vegas next week so we're going to have a going away dinner at Harney Sushi next Wednesday. Come hang out and try the Bomb James Bomb roll... You'll love it! I took a few pictures at Harney's but I forgot to bring my camera wire so I can't transfer the pictures.

Anyhow, I meet up with Chachy at the Comedy Store off Sunset. They just had a private screening for Pauly Shore's upcoming movie "Adoption." Be on the look out for that soon... Chachy was ecstatic that the everything went perfectly. Congrats my friend! We celebrated at Thai Patio off Hollywood Blvd with a romantic dinner for two. HAHA. Its weird to go there on a week day and completely sober...

He was knocked out so Melissa and I painted his toe nails dark purple... HAHA. They actually just look like bruised toes... HAHA!
In the morning, we dropped off Chachy at work and decided we'd work on our fitness and go jogging through Runyan Canyon in the Hollywood Hills. I didn't know how intense the trail was, but we pretty much walked 75% of it. The hills are crazy! But we got some good cardio and sweat going on...

Jay (5&A Dime) is planning to make a much anticipated return to the DJ scene, but with a new customize fighter helmet with built in headphones (which he's working on). But when the black visor is down, he isn't take any request. HAHA... I want a fight pilot helmet too! Tell me that shit ain't funny...

Anyways, Edgar aka DJ Speshul ED (Mindz Alike) stopped by my house today. He presented me with a box that was left there by FedEX. I knew it was my shoes from Converse Skateboarding... Yippy!

They're both a bit more flashy then my normal black shoes with white soles, but I like them. Plus they're really conformable since they got memory foam foot soles.

I've seen a lot of buzz lately about this rapper/singer from Canada, Drake. Ben Wang (Clae) sent me a few tracks the other day and I instantly became a fan. Drake's been working closely with Lil Wayne and just recently released a new mixtape called "So Far Gone".

On a connecting flight home from Malaysia, we stopped in Paris. At 6am, Pharrell tries anything to get McDonald's to open up early. Maybe a little song and dance might do the trick. or maybe not...

Lazy Sundays!

Sammie and Ibay spent the night at my house. We were all so lazy Sunday morning, it took us forever to get out of beds. We didn't end up having breakfast until 2:30PM... Thats right, 2:30PM! HAHA. We were suppose to meet up with Harold at Le Peeps in La Jolla, but it no longer exist so we headed to Zanzibar in Downtown instead.

During breakfast, we were deciding what to do afterwards and someone brought up watching "I love you, man". Only problem was that I promised Mark aka Chachy that I'd watch it with him since the movie is loosely based on our relationship... HAHA.

So with Chachy's permission, we caught the next showing. Too bad I wasn't able to stay awake the entire time. I think I slept for 1/4 of the movie... I couldn't stay awake! I was trying too but I think all the going out was catching up to me. The movie was funny, but not as funny as I thought it would be. Maybe because the humor is more dry and slow... But I did enjoy it, well the parts that I saw. HAHA... I guess I'll just watch it again with Chachy! HAHA
When we got out of the movie, Eugene (Shilo) and Jon (Shilo) met up for a quick second. I haven't seen Eugene in forever. Its was great to actually see him and catch up for a minute.

Alfredo's Ultimate House Party Birthday Bash

On Saturday, Sammie (So.Super.Sam) and Ibay (Usual Suspects LA) came down from LA for Alfredo's 21st (+ 10) ultimate house party birthday bash! Alfredo is the original Captain Fun Times so I knew its gonna be fun. There was tons of food (I think I walked straight to the food when I got there, I didn't even say Hi to people b/c I was starving), karaoke, DJs, alcohol, dancers, family and friends.
