Battle Wounds

Monday afternoon Althea, OJ, and I returned to the PQ Preserve to bike the trails again. Our goal was to get some exercise and to better familiarize ourselves w/ the trail.

Unfortunately Myster was speeding downhill where she took a sharp turn to quickly and wiped out. She has battle wounds on her arm, a bruised left hip and right knee, and a sore left shoulder. On top of that, she has a performance this Sunday at UCSD's Rimac Area for Fusion. Hopefully she'll still be able to perform.

She took it like a trooper though... She stayed positive, laughed about it, and didn't shed a tear. Check out her nasty battle wounds. If you look closely you'll notice there's still dirt in her teeth from the crash....
Luckily she was wearing a helmet... The money maker (aka her face) is still beautiful. Get well soon Myster so we can ride together again! 143!!!

As a result of Althea's crash I did some research to help educate everyone on proper riding techniques. I found the following videos on YouTube from BikeSkills.com.

Hopefully these videos will educate you about proper riding techniques for your next ride... Now you can ride like the PROS! HAHA

Today's To Do List:
1.) Go to Ikea w/ Chris to look for a new desk... I'm tired of looking at my old desk w/ Sailor Moon and Dragon Ballz stickers on it from middle school. HAHA
2.) Stop by Excelsior and the Scottish Rite to finalize event details for Victory Nightlife
3.) Meeting w/ Elm from Boogie Zone in Orange County in the late afternoon.
4.) Rearrange my office space aka my room
5.) Play Ghost Recon II on Xbox 360... I haven't played video games in almost 2 months.
6.) Midnight Bike Ride w/ the WBZ Cycling Division Team

Have a great day everyone!

MUST SEE VIDEO: For all you mountain bike enthusiast you gotta watch this amazing clip of these pro riders... Looks like so much fun!
