Neill Orje for Raid Projects Los Angeles

Congrats Neill!
My good friend Neill Orje has recently earned his way into Raid Projects’ highly regarded Artist In Residency Program. For the next couple of months, he’ll be spending his time painting between the walls of Raid Projects art space. Here, he will get to share his work with curators, critics and collectors from around the world.

This weekend, Orje’s “Afloat” will be part of the
Raid Projects Group Show located at The Brewery Art Complex in Los Angeles. 2100 N. Main St., #A-9, Los Angeles, CA 90031.

Ignorant Fridays ft. DJ Rygar

[Friday, October 16th] I was back in San Diego Friday morning for another 24 hour stay. I miss just being able to relax and chill in SD, but the past few times I've been back down I've been on the constant move.

Anyways, Ryan Garcia aka DJ Rygar (600 Inc.) flew into town for the night. Steven (TAA) and I picked him up and headed to Downtown to meet up with the 5&A Dime and Alphanumeric fam. Its been months since I've seen them. Bert (Alphanumeric) suggested we try this new spot: Joey's Smokin' BBQ.
Humm... What to pick!?

DJ Jay Jung (NYC) stopped by with his girlfriend to chop it up about tonight's festivities.
The BBQ at Joey's was pretty good and it had a homemade feel to it. I definitely want to try some of their other meats on the menu. I'll be back soon... If you're in DTSD go check it out on 4th Avenue next to Yardhouse.

It was off to Thin/Onyx next for an early Victory Nighltife meeting sponsored by Costco Pizza! HAHA
I love my Victory Nightlife family! Too bad this photo came out blurry!
Thanks to Jose (GM) for the round of vodka! To the good life... 143!

La Cita in DTLA w/ SD friends!

[Thursday, October 15th] I headed out to La Cita last Thursday to meet up with some of the SD friends. Thanks to Jason (Archival) for taking care of us! We spent the majority of the time dancing the night away to an eclectic variety of music. It wasn't as crackin' as the last time I was there, but I liked it better because I was able to mingle with people and actually have room to dance.

We went straight to the bar once we got in for a shot of Patron!

I’m in love with the 27"! Yes, please.
