I'm gonna get the new 32GB iPad 3G when it comes out on April 30th at 5PM as a graduation gift to myself. YEAH! I can't wait... I know its so not necessary, but remember, "You only live once, so buy everything!" I know some of you are probably thinking I should wait, but if you know meyou know I am not the most patient person. Plus like every other technological gadget, there's always going to be upgrades and newer versions in a few months, so why wait, just upgrade later!

I was just surfing the web and came across Incases's new travel kit for the iPad. I guess I am going to need to add this to my wish list as well...

Hip-Hop Karaoke's 2 Year Anniversary Recap

[Friday, April 2nd] Congrats to Hip-Hop Karaoke (HHK) on celebrating their 2 Year Anniversary. If you didn't know every 1st Friday of the month we feature Hip-Hop Karaoke downstairs at Onyx for our R&R:Rhythm & Recreation events. You've gotta come to the next one on Friday, May 7th and sign up for yourself. I love seeing people who really get into it and perform for the crowd. Maybe you'll see me up there performing "Rapper's Delight" on the 7th. ;)

World of Dance Pomona 2010 by YAK Films

World of Dance 2010 kicked off their 10 city tour this year in Pomona last Saturday, April 10th. Every crew from ABDC Season 5 was there including the original America's Best Dance Crew, the Jabbawockeez, all lit up the stage for this all day dance festival in front of thousands. I emceed part of the youth division and the entire upper division along with Myron Marent (21XL) & Ricky Cole (Soul Fresh). I'm behind on my blog so I won't have a WOD recap until later this week but check out this recap video produced by YAK Films.

Winscape Wall Decoration

Your future wall decoration has arrived, and it's called Winscape ($2,500-$3,000). Based on two 46-inch Panasonic TC-P46G10 plasma screens, a Mac running specialized software, a Wii remote, a custom-built IR-emitting necklace, and an iPhone app, Winscape creates two virtual windows, which can display static images up to 4096x4096 resolution, or 1080p video — with sound — and tracks the necklace wearer's movements around the room, realistically changing the view out of the "windows" accordingly. [Friday, March 26th] The Blueprint 3 tour was in LA at the Staples Center. I woke up that morning thinking, "Why didn't I get tickets for the show?" But I know I could find my way in somehow... I always do! ;) So of course I called my partner in crime and local korean chola, Mink. It seemed like everyone was going to the concert, including all of Hollywood's A-Listers, but no one had any extra tickets.

Mink and I decided to just head over to the Staples Center to see if we could sneak our way in some how. Luckily, she got in touch with %&#$* at Crooks & Castles who was running a copied VIP suite tickets scheme. Always hustlin'! I wasn't sure how it was going it work but we managed to get in through the VIP entrance were all the celebrities were entering. We went from no tickets... to VIP Suites at the Jay-Z Concert! HOVA!
Since we were in LA, I knew there were going to be tons of special appearances, which included Memphis Bleek, Ice Cube, Young Jeezy, and Trey Songz. Even all the celebrities were in the house to see Brooklyn's own. It was definitely the spot to be that night...
Mink, some of the homiegirls, and I ended up in a VIP suite with some Mexican drug lords poppin' bottles of Champagne & Patron. It was pretty crazy, but everyone was having fun livin' "La Vida Loca"!

Its Summertime in SoCal, which means its time to go shop for sunglasses. Since my good friend Ray Benitez works at Oliver Peoples in Fashion Valley, I decided to pay him a visit and try on some shades. After shuffling through several pairs, I found a winner: Oliver Peoples Connolly (MSRP: $295). Of course I went with matte black... All black everything! ;)

Julz is actually good at something other than sucking...

[Thursday, April 1st] I spent most of the day working from out of the 5&A Dime office. We've got DJ Neil Armstrong (Jay-Z's Tour DJ) coming in to Thin for a special edition of R&R: Rhythm & Recreation on Friday, April 30th. Its the official 5&A Dime x DJ Neil Armstrong exclusive T-Shirt & DNA of the Blueprint CD release party. I'll have more info for you soon... You won't want to miss it!

Anyways, the Victory fam took over Mira Mesa Bowl on Thursday with $25 lanes & $7 domestic pitchers of beer. Time to bust out our balls... Who wants some!?
