NYC Day#6: To the Batcave!

[Saturday, January 30th] I am sure you guys have been enjoying Mink's guest blogs from New York (from the comments I've been getting, I think you guys like her more than me... HAHA!). Sorry but I am back for now! So where did we leave off...

Saturday I woke up bright and early to head to Soho to make it rain. Its had already been 5 days and I haven't had a chance to buy anything. I actually ditched Mink and Mark because they were sleeping. On my way to Soho, I was serenaded with the "Mexican Hat Dance" aka TJ's anthem.
I love Soho! I think I spent at least an hour at Uniqlo, Topman, and G-Star. I had the hardest time finding long shirts/jackets that fit my monkey ass arms. By the end of the day, I maxed out my credit card, but luckily I had a back up. ;) Shoppin' is an expensive hobby...
Eventually, Mark and Mink met up with me in Chinatown for some Vietnamese food.
I guess you can say we're always on our phones...
After my shopping frenzy, it was back to Brooklyn to meet up with Irv at his cousin's house down the street for my first home Caribbean cooked meal.
Thanks for the hospitality and the wonderful meal guys!
Delicious!
After our meal, it was time to kick back a few shots of Dominican whiskey with our new friends.
Cheers!
We headed to the Lower East Side to Stay for "The Great Expression" with Unkle Chip, and guest DJ, the one and only Mark Marcelo!

Stephanie x Nancy x Mink
I remember Chip telling me the event was downstairs and the password was "The Great Expression", but when I walked down there, all I saw was a coat check and cases of beer... WTF!?
Little did I know, it was actually a secret entrance to the Batcave!
The downstairs had a smaller intimate vibe, very NYC!
Party time!
I spy Mark Marcelo!
DJ Mark Marcelo laying it down for the West Coast!
Myra x Irv
It was a small spot but it was definitely crackin'!
This chick was killin' it with her b-girl footwork, it was rather sexy!
Oliver x TK x Chip
Time to head to 53rd and 6th...
For some Halal Cart! I'd been craving it every night! There was a line of at least 20+ people at 3:30am in 15 degree weather... Trippin' right!? No because its so worth it!
Look at all of us trying to look warm! HAHA
Obviously Mink didn't think it was worth it. She's a Halal Cart hater!
I'm f*ckin' hungry now!
