Alvinisms 694: San Francisco

Since Alvin has already started blogging about our trip to Egypt, I thought I would save myself some time and repost Alvin's Alvinism 694.  Thanks Alvin!  Make sure you check out his blog daily for quotes, fun facts, photos of food, and just random Alvin type of stuff.

Presenting Mr. Alvin Glen Benavidez aka Alvinisms...

"Expect trouble as an inevitable part of life, and when it comes, hold your head high, look it quarely in the eye and say, 'I will be bigger than you. You cannot defeat me."

-Ann Landers

Did you know: Egyptian even mummified animals like 18 foot crocodiles!

Thought of the day: Referring to my quote of the day we have had our fair share of bumps in the road in this trip. Actually we've had a lot like: waking up after NYE, last tickets to DC, getting hustled and hustling back, booking last second flights out of Cairo.

So you'll see a couple of pics like these when we are at our destination. Here I am w/ San Diego after having the hardest time waking up after a wild night at HOB for NYE. Thanks for all the good times and cheers to the new year! I know its hella late but fuck it!

Ho hum diddly dum we only took a quick flight to Los Angeles. We had to do all these crazy connecting flights because it was hella packed in the airlines. Flying standby is pretty cool unless you get stuck; but the perks are amazing!

You do have to dress up for 1st class though. Check TK's white no show socks...showing. Mwahaha!

Drop dat deuce yo!

Lotion dem elbows ashy Rich.

Check out Toe-Knee's hands full of toothpaste. Dang...Ha!

The cool thing about airports is that they always (well usually) have pretty cool architecture, lines, designs, etc.

Welcome to The Yay.

Well, we missed our flight so we ended up illin w/ Leo for a night. It was cool just go w/ the wind of the trip and make best of what happens. There will be a lot more of this on the way.

Thanks for the ride Leo-nards!

We did the touristy thing since we will be "tourists" for the next week. Can you tell where we are? Check the girl modeling in the back. Nize.

Rich your Vietnamese not Japanese.

The Red Gate Bridge. Where's this gate? The toll booth?

Candid laughs are nice. No homo.

Which do you like better? This picture or.....

This one...Ha! I like the latter!

Laugh it up buds.

Time for the city and some "Bomb ass chicken!"

The streets are hella sloped in The Bay, Drew I don't know how you'll drive your stick lowered car out here but good luck!

Me likey bright lights. I get distracted by shiny things pretty easy.

The next morning we're off on our adventure! Keep reading for updates! See you in the States soon. If we get back in time Team Egypt will be at Onyx/Thin to continue the madness!!! Hurry before be pass out from alcohol + Jet Lag!

This is my "WOOHOOOO!!! TIME TO GO POSE!"

Here are a few photos I took while we were in SF.  I ended up meeting up with Kevin Siu (World of Dance | Kaba Legacy) at Louisiana Fried Chicken on 6th.  According to DJ Rygar, they've got the "Bomb Ass Chicken!"  Kevin was in town visiting family for the holidays.
Alvin and Richard ended up passing out at the Courtyard Marriott, which we got hooked up with thanks to Kevin, so the rest of us headed out to a nearby Irish Pub.  Kevin was rollin' with a pack of other guys named Kevin too.  Everyone was named Kevin!  HAHA

Leo x Kevin x Kevin x Kevin x Kevin x TK... HAHA  Actually, one of the guys was named... I forgot but I could have sworn he was a Kevin too!
Its weird being the minority at the bar... HAHA
We ended up meeting up with Ryan aka DJ Rygar and Jay for more drinks at a bar off Broadway.  Didn't get too ignorant but I was feelin' kinda nice after a few Hen and Cokes.
Late night grubbin'!  I think I was passed out at this point...
Thanks to Kevin and Rygar for coming out to meet up with us while we were in the Bay for the night.  I wish I could have had a chance to stay and party with everyone else but we were on our way to Egypt in the morning.

Thanks Leo for picking us up!  Fun times buddy!
