[Day 3] Operation Economy Stimulation

[Thursday, July 30th] Was the most memorable day in New York. Not only was it an absolutely beautiful day but I spent the afternoon shopping in SoHo, having dinner at Tao, and dancing the night away at the Hudson Hotel. Oh yeah, did I mention I spent over $1,000 too? Hey, you only live once, so buy everything, plus I was doing my part to stimulate the economy. ;)

Days like this make me wish I lived in New York!
I got a few recommendations from friends to check out Topshop in SoHo. I ended up leaving with $422 less than what I entered with. Definitely a highly recommended store though to visit when you're in NYC.
SoHo is always crackin'!
I finally got a chance to check out Opening Ceremony... Awesome store! They had a pair of Opening Ceremony sneaker boots that were 50% off of $305. I couldn't resist!
My shopping spree total came out to $660. I am happy with all of my purchases though!

On my way back to Melissa S.'s apartment, I saw the mysterious black ninja squirrel she was telling me about. I got so excited I had to snap a picture of this rare creature. This might be the only photo of the actual black ninja squirrel known to man. No joke!
That night, Nancy Ly invited me out to Tao for her 26th birthday dinner. When Melissa R. and I got there the place was packed with a line out the door.
We kicked off the night with a round of Patron and a Tao-Tine. 4 drinks + tip = $70!
Toe-Knee x Melissa
Since I was on a mission to stimulate the economy, I ordered the most expensive entree on the menu, the $88 12oz. grilled kobe ribeye with yuzu cilantro butter.

The kobe ribeye was super good, but I don't know if I'd pay another $88 for it. I'm glad I tried it though!
I gave Nancy a piece of my kobe ribeye as a birthday present! That'll be $20 please! HAHA
Dinner was amazing! I'm really glad we came out for this special occasion and got to meet some really cool people.
Damn...
Welcome to Tao New York!
Happy 26th Birthday Nancy!
After dinner, Melissa R. and I headed to the Hudson Hotel to meet up with Oliver and Melissa S. The venue reminded me of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" video... It made us all want to dance!
DJ Jung aka Jay (Elite Camp) was in the mix!
Melissa S. x Oliver (Foundation)
Melissa R. x TK... I'm still not sure what we're doing in this photo!
Of course we kicked it off with a round of Patron shots!
Round 2!
The place was packed with tons of pretty people!
We stay at the Hudson Hotel dancing the night away until 3AM. I don't think I've danced, rapped, or sweated that much in forever... Fun times!
This random white guy put on a show for us while we rested our legs... HAHA!
We ended the night once again on 53rd and 6th at the Chicken & Rice cart! This time I kept the hot sauce to a minimum.
Oliver was done by the end of the night... Knocked out!
Jeremy Deleon (FYS) and a few others were also in New York. They were suppose to meet up with us but go so drunk they ended up on the wrong train headed to Coney Island. HAHA

Thanks again to Oliver and Jay for showing us a great time! I definitely had the Time of my Life!

@TKoftheWildboyz: Shopping Spree in SoHo: $660 | Dinner at Tao: $245 | Drinks at the Hudson Hotel: $160 | Dancing the night away w/ friends: PRICELESS! =)
